Part-time Production Technician (Anchorage, AK) Part-Time

Company:

Role:

  • Operate in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assemble electronic products, including mechanical and electronic assembly of data loggers
    and temperature sensor cables.
  • Consistently and accurately document production steps, part serial numbers, work-flow
    changes, and other information as required on engineering documents and work orders.
  • Fabricate and design customized equipment for production and Research and Development.
  • Read and write schematics and assembly drawings, clean, and inspect printed circuit board
    assemblies.
  • Implement customer orders from salesperson handoff to shipping products using Asana.
  • Manage the shop including organization of equipment, tools, inventories, and purchasing.
  • Maintain and improve standards for quality control and assurance.
  • Troubleshoot at systems level and component level of equipment and products we sell.
  • Perform system & subsystem testing, troubleshooting, calibration & certification.
  • Travel for field installation support as required (typically remote Alaska and the North Slope)
  • Provide customer support and training for service issues (as needed).

Preferred Qualifications (not all are required):

  • A passion for manufacturing, innovation, and technology
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a range of practical problems.
  • Familiarity with Asana and/or GSuite Products.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings, and schematic diagrams.
  • Electronics fabrication experience with through-hole soldering and wire harness manufacturing.
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical assembly.
  • Test instrumentation (DMM, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.) experience.
  • Familiar with concepts and practices of static-controlled workspace.
  • 3D Modeling and/or 3D printing experience.

Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Anchorage, AK) Part-Time

  • to primarily support our Accounting and Executive teams.
  • Hourly wage is $23/hour. Schedule preferred +/- 20 hours over at least 3 days per week with
    potential for more work as needed and as the company continues to grow. Flexibility in scheduling,
    PTO, sick days, and holiday pay are offered.
  • The duties of this position require most work to be performed on location at our Anchorage office.
    Some work may be performed remotely after training.

Role:

  • This position reports to the Operations Manager. You will be supported and trained as needed.
    There is room for growth and for you to help improve our processes.
  • Accounting Team Support: bookkeeping data entry; cloud-based filing and organization of records;
    support of our receivables and payables processes & communications.
  • Executive Support: Assist the CEO with: organizing work tasks; preparing for investor and key
    customer meetups; curating social media; improving email response time and reducing emails;
    maintaining business forms and scanning records.
  • Operations & Production Support such as: shopping; errands; office event organization;
    coordination of small projects inside and outside the building; support of purchasing and shipping
    processes; maintenance and repair appointments.
  • Sales Team Support: Creating and adjusting customer data portals (sites) with training and support
    from our customer experience manager and other general support..

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Personal qualities we are looking for are a passion for organization and detail, conscientiousness, the
    ability to self-direct your work, eagerness to learn, collaborative, a willingness to bring your own
    ideas and improvements to your role, the ability to handle confidential material and knowledge in
    an appropriately discrete manner, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 2+ years administrative experience preferred with excellent references. An associates degree,
    appropriate certification(s), and/or experience using Quickbooks would be a plus.
  • beadedstream is an evolving, growing, and technologically savvy organization. We rely heavily on
  • cloud-based systems such as Google Workspace, Asana, CRM tools, and Quickbooks. Basic
    competency with using current technology is required – training and support is provided for our
    specific systems.
