Zach oversees Beaded Stream’s field logistics, provides customer support and develops remote temperature monitoring solutions. He comes to Beaded Stream with a strong background in field-based, hydrologic research. At the University of Montana, Missoula, he earned an M.A. in Geography for his study of rock glacier distribution, mapping and paleoclimatic reconstruction as well as an M.S. in Geosciences for his work in snow hydrology and seasonal snowmelt modeling.
Zach spends as much time exploring remote locations as he does studying them and enjoys the opportunity to streamline field data collection processes with Beaded Stream’s clients. Originally from New Mexico, Zach has lived in Colorado and Montana before moving to Anchorage. If he could have skied from there to here, he would have.
Paul is the latest recruit to the BeadedStream effort. A 2014 Magna Cum Laude graduate of UAA’s mechanical engineering program, Paul brings a range of design expertise to BeadedStream. Over the past few years, he has developed his skills through R&D, engineering analysis, and 3D modeling. Most recently Paul was a key member and co-patentee of an innovative hand-tool to facilitate rod-bending during spinal surgeries.
Paul is active in order completion, and is responsible for project oversight and customer support. He lives in Anchorage, AK and loves playing hockey.
