Overview

Add beadedstream Digital Temperature Cables (DTCs) to your data loggers and/or SCADA systems with the Recite.
The Recite turns a beadedstream DTC into a Modbus, SDI 12 or JSON node. Built for easy panel box integration, we often see these devices used along with Campbell Scientific loggers.

FAQs

We provide the necessary settings and documentation to help you program the data logger but the actual programming is typically done by the user or someone familiar with the third party logger. The Recite is programmed at beadedstream  with a few key settings that you need to advise us on:

 

Modbus RS-485 Programming:

 

Protocol: Choose between Modbus-RTU, Modbus-ASCII, or JSON.

Baud Rate: Options are 9600, 1200, or 115200.

Format: Select from 8N1, 7E1, or 7E2.

Address: Any value between 1 and 247.

 

SDI-12 Protocol:

 

Address: Choose a value from 0 to 9.

No, the Recite product is not weatherproof, so it must be installed within an enclosure at the site, such as a data logger enclosure or a panel box.

One Recite unit is required per cable.
